True

Author: Erin McCarthy Expected publication: May 7th 2013 Publisher: InterMix Categories: Contemporary, Realistic Fiction Rating: I received an eARC from Intermix via Netgalley. Thank you. Sometimes, I think, it’s too much to ask for a new adult book with ‘outside the box’ story. They are all the same, two problematic young adults and their equally problematic life. One saves the other and vice versa. Or some cases, the other one saves the other half. And of course the palpable attraction towards each other and their bordering erotic romantic scenes. While they are entertaining you’ll get sick of it if you’re

Author: Leila Howland Expected publication: May 7th 2013 Publisher: Disney Hyperion Categories: Contemporary, Realistic Fiction Rating: I received an eARC from Disney Hyperion via Netgalley. Thank you. Let me start that book cover had it all wrong. The cover is blushingly gorgeous but I was diving in expecting a romance book. And while there’s romance the book didn’t completely all about it. The story focuses more on the friendship, family and even about self-discovery of our main heroine. Maybe I’m used to ‘new adult’ way handling relationship, as well as my age that I find the romance a bit juvenile

Tuesday is for top ten list! Here’s mine! Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list  that bloggers will answer. The topic for this week is: April 9: Top Ten Favorite Books I Read Before I Was A Blogger Hmm, I think I eventually jumped in the blogging craze when I realized that I’m spending more and more time with it. Writing my opinion/reaction came naturally. But these books are the ones that sealed the deal: Little Lord Fauntleroy - Frances Hodgson Burnett. This

I’m still uncertain but I’ll go ahead and give you guys some heads up, not sure if I can update frequently (even though as you can notice that I’m not updating that much) since I’m travelling to Australia. I think I

Author: Amanda Sun Series: (Paper Gods #1) Expected publication: June 25th 2013 Publisher: Harlequin Teen Categories: Cultural, Mythology, Fantasy Rating: I received an eARC from Harlequin UK Limited via Netgalley. Thank you. To those who are utterly disappointed with Stormdancer, guys there’s a silver lining in the form of Amanda Sun’s novel, Ink. This book was beautifully written. Captivating all I wanted in book that features a different culture, Japanese culture to be precise. I can sense the authentic enthusiasm of the author on the subject she picked. It poured on the book and it emitted naturally on every detail

Author: Josin L. McQuein Published: April 23rd 2013 Publisher: Greenwillow Books Categories:  Dystopia, Science Fiction, Thriller Rating: I received an eARC from Greenwillow Books via Edelweiss. Thank you. Have you ever experience something you have no idea what it was and you don’t know how to explain without resulting to a massive mess of words? This is how I feel about Arclight. It was neither good nor bad. By the time I finished this book I feel like I’m drunk (and I was never drunk, as in ever) but without the hangover. I didn’t know what had just happened. I’ve been
