    2015: A throwback!

2015 was a blast! I have accomplished things, acquired new hobbies, then made bold changes (which I’ll explain briefly later). I think if I were to concise this year into one word, it’ll be eventful. Yes, that’s right that was what I felt for 2015. And that’s a great thing. I’m so happy that I’m always blessed with great things. God never falters. Thank You! Let’s start recapping yo~. Trending Topics of 2015! Breaking some stereotypes!, In which I discuss—

Eager Beaver for these books! 2016 Edition!

In simple words: Most Awaited Novels in 2016! (I just want to sound funny/original. I fail obviously!) I have no title naming sense whatsoever. 🙄 *coughs* Ok, I know that my reading this year wasn’t very stellar compare to 2 years ago (where I devoured one book a day—gah I miss this badly). But that doesn’t mean I’m not interested with upcoming books (even though I’m already taking care of bajillion of books on my TBR already. But what’s more—

    Autumn 2015 Wrap-up! (+ Winter ’16 Watch List)

It was a very awesome line-up the fall has offered us: strong punches, some vampire angst and cute little Yato-gami fanaticism. Sadly, the romance department fell hard, not that I’m expecting anything from them other than mindless entertainment (and entertain did they not). This is listed according to my favorites. Last notes for Autumn 2015 Haikyuu!! 2 — so, so awesome! The Spring tournament has just started and I couldn’t wait for the Aoba Josai revenge match, Enoshita’s & Yamaguchi’s—

    Aim high for 2016!

Setting up new goals for the coming new year is both exhilarating & nerve-wracking. Giving yourself another chance to start with a clean slate is really encouraging but I still feel anxious about it, haha (like when did I not?). Of course every time I set these goals I always get back to what I wrote the last year, to check if I did them the way I wanted it. And while it was a shaky process I believe I—

What’s On My Reading List? #4

I want to go back to the swing of things as swiftly as possible. And with that I’ve decided to return my old feature I called “What’s On My Reading List?” This is a special feature on Rainy Ink where I present you the books & manga I’m planning to read or currently reading. I decided to do this in hope that I’ll able to de-clutter my ever piling TBR. That feature of mine that reminds me I have tons—

Fave Picks From this Mix 2015!

When your yearly special official post title doesn’t resonate your status due to your ongoing predicament; therefore you have no choice but to make teeny bit of adjustment. And so, what I called best of the best doesn’t reflect what I feel right now. Sadly that bookish slump hit me pretty bad. It’s not the lack of trying (OK so maybe a bit of that, I admit) but I found some of my reads for this year on the mediocre—

    Mitchii’s mini adventures in Kinokuniya!

I knew from the very beginning of that dropping by Kinokuniya was a must! I googled where it is located and I made sure to spare few moments to visit it. Luckily KLCC, a huge mall in KL is located a few blocks from where we stayed. I told my mom and sis that I wanted to check out the store which they generously obliged. Me and my youngest sister were too gleeful to finally see it for ourselves. To—

    Mitchii’s Malaysian Escapades

I’m not a travel enthusiast per se but I’m beginning to understand the appeal—on why people hop the earliest flight & travel around the globe. Despite my extreme motion sickness (as per my sister’s words “I’m very troublesome person to travel with,”) I don’t mind powering through just to get to my next destination and live other people’s culture, momentarily. I’m not from well-to-do family so traveling takes some time and some saving: our ways to make our trip happen.—

And now it’s December BUT FIRST, HOW WAS NOVEMBER?!

It was a little slow here @ the blog last November. I had my hands full on other things that I might’ve sacrificed my blogging time to something else. I was preparing for our family trip, sorting out documents, then tried to finish a design commission before I left the country (was a bit unsuccessful on the last part OTL). If you’re interested to know about them, I have a brief breakdown (or the TL;DR version) below: Minuscule Blog Posts:—
