    May in a Nutshell!

It’s pretty much weird month for me. Some days were better than the others sort of month. When May officially rolled in there were lots of things just happened. The first week was the busiest, I even got home completely sucked out of energy. Of course there were laid back moments and great moments as well, so I was still pretty happy with how May went, still. Although I pray that June will be more awesome (not sickly because I—

Dear kind person, please take care of my book!

There are no public libraries here in PH like the ones in US have. Ok, that’s a misleading statement, I mean we do have public libraries, we’re still not that deprive of such facilities *coughs* that said, it’s more academic than leisure. So if we want book, we provide—or some other people afford it for us. *bless the good hearts of these people* And even though I’m not reading books lately my stance on taking good care of books remains—

Why I love being a multilingual reader!

I should’ve ceased those opportunities to learn new language/s. When I was still in university, our department of linguistic offered free language classes (I should’ve signed up for a JP class before & would have been so much easier for me to learn it since I was younger then…you know memory?) Blogger Session: My little adventures in scheduling!

I take note after I posted not prior (to set things straight)! But I fixed a pattern on what content to publish from entries I’ve already written. I also make “notes to self” for things I want to accomplish within the time period I put upon myself. #iliketochallengemyself By posting this I might be deceiving you poor souls that yours truly is a very organized person. NOOOT! But yes, I’m not as spontaneous as I was few years ago; and—

Travel the world through manga! (Part One)

I love reading manga because I’m a big fan of Japanese culture, tradition and history (not as huuuuge as my two sisters are). There was a time I spent two hours hearing the Tokugawa era narrated by my little sister—who is a huge historical junkie as I said. And no, it’s not limited to just Japan, but I digress.) But I do appreciate historical manga and the great thing about graphic novels, it has pictures! I’m not as big of—

Regular: What’s On My Reading List? #9

I’m pretty happy with my reading list for last month. It’s not completely even out because romance department still dominates my reading palate. However I got to try some good action series to balance that out—although some shoujo/josei reads aren’t exactly the lovey-dovey type. Ah, let’s get this show rolling! Books: Went to bookstores (dropped by two NBS branches) yesterday, and I’m quite disappointed with the evident decreased of YA selections. It had two alleys for Teens and now, only—
