Anime, News /

We’re already almost midway through the year; can you believe it? I always say time flies so fast but seriously it really does. 5 months into the year and I can barely see improvement on myself—reading-wise that is. *sighs* Let’s do this monthly wrap-up!

April in a Nutshell!

april-2015

I also reviewed:

  • Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas (sadly, I’m tiny bit disappointed!)
  • 99 Days by Katie Cotugno (I’m severely disappointed! *insert angry emoji—WP made changes with emojis on their latest update!*

I was also featured in a fun chat with Jayvee from Writer for Misfits. We talked about nothing but anime & manga and that chat took us 2 hours! It was a very fun experience.

rest-of-usARC Acquisition:

Harper Collins updated on EW and it felt like Christmas in April. I downloaded, three titles I think? But one that I’m really excited is Patrick Ness’s The Rest of Us Just Live Here. That will be my very first book of his and heard nothing but great things about his books. Also I came back to Netgalley after months & months! And two of my requests got approved, I’m so happy! So yeah, ARCs I’m back! *pushes sleeves* Reading motivation I need you right now!

Other fandoms, passion & whatnots:

I did some productive thing like making a new theme for my animanga blog, Kyaa (go visit it!). It was an effort to make my all blogs responsive. With that said, keep an eye for Aeropapers,  (although this blog is responsive I’m still not quite satisfied) & maybe my main domain as they’re the next one to get a facelift. I’m coding it already so few more days to finish (need to trim down the details). Speaking of design, I don’t know what to do with just peach. I’m thinking of just opening an etsy store. No plans to expand this sideline of mine since it’s very time consuming. No worries, I do accept commission albeit selectively and no rush job since I need to focus on one project at a time.

Also, spring time is here—well, on Japan that is. So many anime to watch. I’m watching 5 series right now: Arslan Senki, Gintama, Ore Monogatari, of course Kuroko no Basket & now two new favorites of mine (marathoned the manga for days~!) Shoukugeki no Souma & Owari no Seraph!

It is summer here and the heat is so unforgiving!!! *wipes sweat while typing all of these!*

That’s what had rolled down this April, so now I turn over to you beautiful bookish peeps; how’s last month?! Fun? Exciting? Whatever that is, share it with me!!!
