Summary: Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year—she’s in love with her big brother’s best friend, but he hasn’t spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, change-your-life kiss. She got out of a terrible relationship. And now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It’s time for Plan B – college. And maybe a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.

Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he’s not telling anyone. Especially not his best friend’s incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But it doesn’t help that all he can think about kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.

As they’re thrown together more and more, Jase and Tess can’t keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they’re willing to risk to be together, and what they’re willing to lose if they’re not…

Review: To be perfectly honest, Jase can’t even hold a candle to Cam (just sayin’). Jase did some really douchebaggery stuff in the form of inconsistent actions. He run hot and cold every time and poor Tess was taking it all in because she was madly in love with the guy. It did reveal why he was acting that way but that shouldn’t completely hold him from forming a real relationship, especially when he couldn’t stand not being with her.

Jase obviously has baggage and this made him reluctant to start a real relationship. Tess being Cam’s little sister was just part of the reason why. It was actually a mistake he did in the past and someone was taken from him because he wasn’t man enough to take the responsibility. He was trying to make up for the lost time, but with Tess being there, he thought (which I think) made him second guess her and their possibility as a couple.

But Tess was willing to accept the baggage he had because she, too, had past. She was in abusive relationship before. And this made Cam overprotective of her. But she learned her lesson and ready to try again, this time with Jase. But like I said he wasn’t sure about them, which infuriated me because he was doing the exact opposite on what he was saying. The poor girl had to take rejections a few times before he finally grew manly balls and worked it this time. (ugh, finally!)

Of course, what I’ve been waiting for was Cam’s reaction to their relationship. I knew he will get mad not because of them together, but the betrayal of two people close to him. I did expect him to be like this:

But I know eventually he will be like this:

All’s well that ends well, right? Not really. Once again Jase doubted their relationship and tried to stay away. It was only then when she almost slipped out of his fingers that gave him a wakeup call. That maybe, maybe it was time to grow a pair and to completely make up his mind. And to not to let his girl wait any longer. So I guess, I did like the ending. I was still pinning for Cam & Avery though. The little glimpse of their lives was really interesting, especially with the plan he’d prepared for Avery. I miss Cam terribly. I need cookies! *pouts*

I received an advance copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Thank you.
