Maybe 2014 wasn’t really productive, reading-wise. I neglected lots of books last year and while I aim to read ‘em this year, I think it’s quite unrealistic to read ’em all. I already set-up my GR challenge only targeting for 52 books this year. But I would love to exceed that. Hopefully one of these books (I have high hopes for these starters) is the one that will help me rid of this slump! Give me a good book, right now!

Starters (or Standalone):

  • A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas
  • A Darker Shade of Magic (A Darker Shade of Magic, #1) by V.E. Schwab
  • Even When You Lie to Me by Jessica Alcott
  • Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
  • Immaculate by Katelyn Detweiler
  • Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
  • The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall
  • The Game of Love and Death by Martha Brockenbrough
  • The Stars Never Rise by Rachel Vincent
  • The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma

Sequels (or Next in the Series):

  • Miss Mayhem (Rebel Belle #2) by Rachel Hawkins
  • The Ruby Circle (Bloodlines, #6) by Richelle Mead
  • Unleashed (Uninvited, #2) by Sophie Jordan

  • Forged (Taken #3) by Erin Bowman
  • PS. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, #2) by Jenny Han
  • Willowgrove (Hemlock, #3) by Kathleen Peacock

So how about you wonderful bookish peeps, what are your most awaited books for 2015, please share it with me! @.@

19 Responses to Most Awaited Novels in 2015!

  1. Oh my , there are tons! I’ll just mention the top ten or so starting with book four of The Raven Cycle and Throne of Glass series, A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Darker Shade of Magic, The Wrath and the Dawn, An Ember in the Ashes, Fairest and Winter(!).

Seriously, 2015 is book releases heaven! =D

I’m also really excited for basically all the books on your list hahah. Like A Darker Shade of Magic and also A Court of Thorns and Roses. I have eARCs of both Made You Up (which I am incredibly excited for because THAT COVER), and then I also have The Walls Around Us, which because it was on NG for so long I’ve kind of lost my excitement for it (just a little though).

I do have other books I am highly anticipating, like Fairest and Red Queen and All the Bright Places. There are a lot of good books this year, but I feel like half of them have something to do with mental illness? Or at least the ones I’ve requested are….Have you noticed that or is it just me haha.

    • Mitchii G. says:

I have some ARCs too, so I’m trying to read those so I can finally put review here. Really, I didn’t notice but I do like stories with mental illness, I’m psych major so that always interest me. Eeeep, excited for these books!

  3. Alysia says:

Lots of good books coming out in 2015! SO overwhelmed how good everything seems. I can’t wait for the next Lara Jean book as well. Same for the end of the Bloodlines series with The Ruby Circle. And yes, I’m sooo excited for Sarah’s new book! That cover! So jealous of everyone reading it already and I’m usually not that worried with arcs. 😛 A Darker Shade of Magic seems really good too, I think I’m going to read Vicious from that author soon.

    • Mitchii G. says:

Those highly coveted ARC of Sarah’s new series, lucky people! I’m really excited for A Darker Shade of Magic bc I love, love Vicious (which you should totally check it out!) so my expectations are colossal, LOL. I need to read Silver Shadows! So many books to read!!!! XD

  4. A court of thorns and roses is one of my most anticipated books <3 I'm also very curious about The conspiracy of us (pretty cover) and A darker shade of magic. I liked The walls around us. The beginning is captivating 🙂

  5. Yes I cannot wait for The Walls Around Us either! I got a galley off NG a while ago but I can only read it on my phone as opposed to my kindle for some reason so it’s going to be really difficult to read. Yes Made You Up! I’ve heard brilliant things for that one as well.

    Lovely list there, Mitchii! <33

    • Mitchii G. says:

Yeah, there are earcs that I can’t open with my e-reader, I wonder why. It’s gonna be hard reading books using your phone (don’t like doing that tbqh). OOOOH, now I’m excited!

  6. Crini says:

Oh god, there are SO MANY! I already set myself a limit on how many I’m allowed to buy each month to not go crazy.

A Darker Shade of Magic is definitely one of them! This one is going to be awesome! Same goes for The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness.

The Walls Around Us is fantastic! Got to read it already and I absolutely loved it!

    • Mitchii G. says:

I haven’t read anything by Patrick Ness, will def look out for that! xD Really, gosh, this makes me more excited for these books! 😀

  7. Annie says:

PS I STILL LOVE YOU – YES YES YES YES. I am totally planning on marathoning the series when it comes out and then baking all of Lara Jean’s cookies to celebrate and just having a really fun self party inspired by To All the boys because THAT is how much I loved the book.

And apart from that… I haven’t really been keeping up with 2015 releases and have very little idea what is coming out. So I guess I’ll just wait and see what people are talking about to plan what to read!

  8. Megan says:

I keep saying this to everyone, but daaaayumm, are the 2015 book covers gorgeous or gorgeous?! I love that minimalism seems on the rise these days. No more complicated covers with models who don’t fit anymore — yay! xD (Gosh, I am so cynical.) But yup, definitely looking forward to most of these books as well, though I think I’m most excited for A Darker Shade of Magic, because I just want to take that cover, enlarge it, then frame it up on my wall and stare at it all day.

And eeep, I really do need to read TAtBILB soon. I love its cover, and I’ve heard some pretty good things about it, but right now I can’t buy anymore new books with a clear conscience. I have too many books to finish up and my book slump is preventing all that. *cries*

All the best with your GR challenge, Mitchii! I’m sure you can do it! CHEERING FOR YOU. ;D

    • Mitchii G. says:

I know right, I love that pretty dress theme is starting to wane and designers are making more creative ways to represent the story, typography, art, scenery! So many to choose from!

Yes, you should. It’s really such a sweet, enjoyable book!

I’m already behind, at least that’s what GR told me. Will try to finish it!

  9. Kezia says:

YES! I’m also super excited for P.S. I Still Love You <33 I sense there will be a love triangle but it will be an enjoyable book nonetheless. I'M ALL FOR PETER KAVINSKY THOUGH.

The Conspiracy of Us sounds fantastic as well!! I mean, YA Davinci Code — how cool can THAT be?? Though I quite disagree with putting a girl with a pretty dress on the cover… To be honest I don't see the correlation to the story lines.

Anyway, judging by the cover alone, Made You Up looks freaking gorgeous! I love the hue and the texture of a painting <3 *applauds the cover designer* I truly hope you will get out of your slump, Mitchii! Good luck with your challenge 🙂

  10. Mitchii G. says:

Yes, we are here for PETER KAVINSKY!!!!

I haven’t read/watch Da Vinci Code but the plot intrigued me! Ah yes! The Made you up Cover is the bomb! My artsy sense is tingling! I really hope so! >.<

  11. EEK. I really want to read ADSOM and ACOTAR. They just look *so* good. And the authors are really great writers, so I’m pretty sure I will end up loving them 😀

I am actually pretty bad at release dates and whatnot. I have no idea how I choose what to read sometimes. >.<

I was really excited for SIMON V.S THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA, but I already read that, haha!

I'm very excited for INCITE by Erica Crouch, and some other books that I don't really know the authors of like: NONE OF THE ABOVE, and MORE HAPPY THAN NOT.

I hope we both get to read the books we want this year, Mitchii!
