Honestly I didn’t do much reading last month! I blame Mystic Messenger for that! (well, don’t really blame it because I LOVE playing it!)  But I still did some reading although it was kinda few and majority are shorties too compare  to my massive hoarding I did last October!

I’m pretty excited that Kimi no Na wa is gonna screen here! There’s already a tentative date (December 14, hope it pushes through!) I’m super intrigued with this movie. Now, I actually found out that the movie director of that film was also the person behind the 5 Centimeters Per Second 『秒速5センチメートル』 movie. I read the manga without prior knowledge of the existence of the movie. I did know that this is an old series but what I didn’t know it had film, too. The story was bit sad,  focuses on first & unrequited love. Next, Gaitou Alice 『骸盗アリス』! It’s josei series about people fighting off ill intentions by trespassing through their dreams. I love the whole Alice in Wonderland flare to it & totally enjoyed it! I was kinda sad that it was quite short. Then, another older series Kimi ga Uso o Tsuita 『君がウソをついた』 was about girl who got in accident suddenly waking up with an ability to see people’s lie. It was very interesting and I liked the romance as well.

『願ったり 叶ったり

My Boyfriend 『マイ・ボーイフレンド』 is your typical overly saccharine shoujo series. It wasn’t bad and I find the two leads cute but it doesn’t offer anything to me other than fluff! But it was undeniably cute though! Hajimete no Kedamono 『はじめてのケダモノ』 is the exact opposite of My Boyfriend. It was the smutty kind of series, with two good looking guys vying for the girl’s affection. I’m in volume 5 and so far there’s an ongoing shift to who’s the girl real “love interest” is…or at least that’s how I understand it! Negattari Kanattari 『願ったり 叶ったり』 is a josei series about this lady who is curious by their workplace’s love guru! Her initial interest with him turned to something else—you already figured out what it is!

Otonari wa 1-ken de 2-do Oishii 『お軒隣は1で2度おいしい』 about a girl between two guys again! It gives me a bit of Yume Miru Taiyou vibes but a little more annoying, ahaha! Saraba, Yoki Hi 『さらば、佳き日』 is something I got from honto and I was initially grabbed by the summary: “newlywed couple with a secret”. The secret was pretty much revealed at the earliest point of the story. Even with that theme it wasn’t explicit. The story show their relationship back when they were kids. But I don’t fare well with this kind of topic so I dropped it.  Only 2 volumes as far as I know. And lastly, Sonna Me de Minai de 『そんな瞳でみないで』 one volume shoujo series about a girl who is fond of guy’s with glasses. The boy this time wasn’t an ordinary glasses donning guy!

And that’s it! So how about you, how’s the reading pile? Overwhelming like mine? Care to share it with me?
