I saw this 55 Question Book Meme on book-memes.livejournal.com. I was looking at the question when I noticed that I am answering it in my head. So I decided to answer them here. It’s quite a number of questions but the answer doesn’t need to be long.  If you want to do it too just copy the questions and answer them.

1. Favourite childhood book?
None. I despise reading when I was still a kid.

2. What are you reading right now?
Three books because I liked pushing myself to my limits (though I’m not reading them at once):  Never Fade, Life, Love & Lemons (for blog tour) and Fangirl.

3. What books do you have on request at the library?
I don’t request books at the library. We don’t have public libraries like the ones in the US.

4. Bad book habit?
Hoarding. Definitely hoarding.

5. What do you currently have checked out at the library?
See question no. 3

6. Do you have an e-reader?
Yep, I own two of ‘em. (Le Vision E-Book Reader & a Kobo)

7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
Sometimes one but sometimes I read several if and only the book I’m initially reading was boring.

8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?
Yep. I read like A LOT!

9. Least favourite book you read this year (so far?)
September Girls by Bennett Madison

10. Favourite book you’ve read this year?
Unravel Me, Unbreakable, Wild Cards, The Indigo Spell (I’m pretty sure I’ll be giving The Fiery Heart five stars as well) & Crown of Midnight

11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?
Rarely. Very Rarely.

12. What is your reading comfort zone?
YA & New Adult

13. Can you read on the bus?
Nope. I can’t read to any moving vehicle at all.

14. Favourite place to read?
On my bed. On the couch. Anywhere in the house that is quiet.

15. What is your policy on book lending?
I’m very strict when it comes to lending book because I treasure them. I only lend them to people I trust who will give it back the same condition I lend them. Basically knows how to take care of books. xD

16. Do you ever dog-ear books?
What the heck is that?! I googled it and no way will I do that to my book!

17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books?
Nope. That’s blasphemy!!!

18. Not even with text books?
No—wait, I think I did…

19. What is your favourite language to read in?
English. Sometimes Filipino but that’s when it comes to romance novelettes. ;D

20. What makes you love a book?
Amazing plot and amazing characters! It doesn’t have to be very original. 😉

21. What will inspire you to recommend a book?
When someone asked.

22. Favourite genre?
YA and NA. Sometimes Adult. Wait, isn’t this question 12? Shocks I think I misunderstood the question. Oh well. *shrugs*

23. Genre you rarely read (but wish you did?)
High Fantasy.

24. Favourite biography?
I couldn’t think of anyone.

25. Have you ever read a self-help book?
Yes. I think I even own one.

26. Favourite cookbook?
None. I don’t cook. I just like to watch and well, to eat.

27. Most inspirational book you’ve read this year (fiction or non-fiction)?
Severed Heads, Broken Hearts by Robyn Schneider

28. Favourite reading snack?
Nothing. I don’t want anything sticky with my books or my e-reader.

29. Name a case in which hype ruined your reading experience.
Hmm, I think it was Legend by Marie Lu. Everyone was raving about it but I wasn’t completely impressed.

30. How often do you agree with critics about a book?
Sometimes. Who are the critics anyway?

31. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews?
It’s painstakingly painful. I don’t take joy writing negative reviews.

32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you choose?
Japanese.

33. Most intimidating book you’ve ever read?
The Piper’s Son by Melina Marchetta.

I don’t know…

Joyce Kilmer?

Same as the above.

Aaron Warner.

Aaron Warner—wait, is he still considered villain?

40. Books I’m most likely to bring on vacation?
My e-reader. What? I couldn’t choose.

One month.

White Cat by Holly Black.

43. What distracts you easily when you’re reading?
Music.

44. Favourite film adaptation of a novel?
The Hunger Games.

Beautiful Creatures

Like Php 1,000.00+

47. How often do you skim a book before reading it? Nope.

48. What would cause you to stop reading a book half-way through?
Boringness of everything.

49. Do you like to keep your books organised?
Yep.

50. Do you prefer to keep books or give them away once you’ve read them?
Keep. I’m selfish that way. ;D

Yep and I wouldn’t tell you what!

Swoon by Nina Malkin. Awful, really awful. D:

Throne of Glass. I don’t like High-Fantasy.

All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill

55. Favourite guilt-free, pleasure reading?
New Adult books. Similar plot and characters but I can’t keep myself from reading it. :p
