Graphic Novels / When it comes to my manga series I’m very impatient!

When it comes to my manga series I’m very impatient! And being an overseas fan makes it harder to bear! But thanks to the internet it makes my impatience at bay! But still, the geographical restriction is something will always be part of my manga reading journey (unless I live in Japan…hmmm)! There are definitely cons not living in Japan but I just have to make amends so even though I’m huge manga reader who’s also pain in the ass impatient reader (LOL) I still manage to enjoy my manga even though I’m miles away from the country of origin!

Years, years before the accessibility (and by accessibility I mean the legal ways to buy manga) isn’t easy nor it’s cheap. Fast forward now there are so many ways to support our fave authors and get our favorite manga displayed in our shelves, the print copies we can actually hold and of course read. Some publishers even deliver the goodies on time! Yass!! So gonna support as much as my bank account can handle! I told you how I buy manga via yesasia or cdjapan. I also buy both print manga and digital via honto! When I traveled I also bought manga in bookstores just like Asahiya and Kinokuniya. In Japan I absolutely in love with BookOff!! All of my Japanese Language graphic novels are bought abroad! I told you I make way especially if I love the it! Honestly I also want to own a print copy of my favorite webtoons series like 치즈인더트랩 by 순끼 and 나의 빛나는 세계 by 마루 although I have not searched about the hows and the prices! But I’ll try to buy! (once I have the money and the ways!! *tee hee*)

even though I’m huge manga reader who’s also an impatient reader (LOL) I still manage to enjoy my manga even though I’m miles away…

But manga series unlike books comes in schedule, there are weekly, fortnightly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly! So sometimes when a chapter ends up in cliffhanger than I’ll be full of excitement and yes, impatience because I want to know more! And also because of scheduling I tend to pick up so many series! You’ve already know about this since before I did monthly reading list (which you can still read in my monthly wrap-up) and I’ve gathered amount of series! But I do kinda organize my reading list which I already told you before!

I think if you really, really love the series you’ll make a way to support and a way to have them fully displayed in shelves for your eyes to feast! I love seeing the bookshelves at home full of books and manga and that’s why I’m still a big advocate of physical copies, although I love digital too ‘cos accessible and actually cheaper! Sometimes you just got to know what happens I think it’s just part of being serial manga/webtoons reader!!
