Week 15. Hot Off the Press
Brand new week means spanking new reads.
Hot of the Press is a weekly meme where I showcase books that I’m planning to read that due to be published this week. Plus, if I’m fortunate enough to have read the book and already reviewed them courtesy of the advance copies I received; I will also highlight them here. Just in case you need a little help deciding if you want to read it and want prior opinion about it. You are very much welcome to read at my
weirdreviews.
Planning to Read: April 06 – 12
- Mayday by Jonathan Friesen
- The Lonesome Young by Lucy Connors
Read & Reviewed (or to be Reviewed):
- Breathe Into Me by Sara Fawkes – TBA
- Plus One by Elizabeth Fama – TBA
- Rebel Belle (Rebel Belle #1) by Rachel Hawkins – ★ ★ ★ ★ ½
- Sea of Shadows (Age of Legends #1) by Kelley Armstrong – TBA
- DNF:
- Great by Sara Benincasa
Oh gosh, I have tons of ARCs that I haven’t read yet and it turned that they are about to be released this week. Another epic blogging moment. I think I need a calendar. Seriously I need it.

Week 14. In a Nutshell:
- Review: Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins
- Bookish Verbosity: Keeping up with the label.
- Review: What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick
- Special: Liebster Award (x2)!
- Review: Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira
I think it was very productive week for me. I did review books. Read tons. And even watched a movie. And would you like to know what movie it was? It was actually Divergent. I know, I’m quite surprised myself after pledging that I’m not going to watch it. But I did so…yeah. Here’s the thing: I hate it. It showed in its 2D glory why I freaking hate the book. No salvation happened, not even Theo James changed my mind. *shrugs*
