Tuesday is for top ten list! Here’s mine!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they will post a new Top Ten list  that bloggers will answer.

There are few book to movie adaptations that I’m excited to see, one is obviously Cathcing Fire. I’m also excited for Vampire Academy & The Book Thief (even though I haven’t seen it but the trailer looks so awesome. Remind me guys to watch it) and also amusingly excited for Fallen (although the series had fizzled out). I’m even intrigued with Divergent and Fifty Shades of Gray even though I wasn’t a fan of those series. There’s something interesting on how the movie folks bring life to the stories and characters we all love.  Here’s some of the book that I want to see as a Movie/Television Show:

Movies:

ttt-1a

  • Die For Me by Amy Plum — Sexy revenants so why not?
  • Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi — I’m going to cry if the actor chosen to play Warner didn’t live up to my expectations, call it irrational but he’s my all-time favorite character!)
  • Slammed by Colleen Hoover —need some tear jerker from time to time. ;D
  • The Eternal Ones by Keirsten Miller — This book has interesting personalities & characters, it wouldn’t hurt to see them live in action.
  • The Proposition by Katie Ashley — Tasteful sexy times. I repeat, tasteful sexy times.

TV Shows:

ttt-2b

  • Soul Screamers by Rachel Vincent — I think they will have enough material with 7 books plus 5 novella (I included stories that are part of anthologies). Who wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to see the very dead but very lively Tod Hudson? Definitely not me! Make this a series!
  • The Demon Trapper’s Daughter — Beck and the sexy southern accent should be enough reasons to make this into TV series.
  • The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa — I’ll watch it faithfully if ever they turn it into a TV series.
  • Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas — HBO, how about something teen appropriate? Please?
  • Unearthly by Cynthia Hand – I’m still asking CW why they cancelled this project. This is awesome material I tell you! AWESOME!

Yep, I’m more on the fantasy, paranormal side of things. I still do have a few series I want to include but I’ve heard they already in consideration (though I still included Shatter Me so sue me!) like Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris and Matched by Ally Condie. So I hope these fellas make the cut in either the small or big screen, whichever format is fine by me.
