Brand new week means spanking new reads.
Hot of the Press is a weekly meme where I showcase books that I’m planning to read that due to be published this week. Plus, if I’m fortunate enough to have read the book and already reviewed them courtesy of the advance copies I received; I will also highlight them here. Just in case you need a little help deciding if you want to read it and want prior opinion about it. You are very much welcome to read at my
I’m planning to read: (October 27 – November 02)
- All The Pieces (Pieces of Lies #3) by Angela Richardson
- In the Age of Love and Chocolate (Birthright #3) by Gabrielle Zevin
- Sentinel (Covenant #5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I’m super excited for In the Age of Love and Chocolate. It’s one of my favorite series and this is the finale (bittersweet moment again). Gabrielle Zevin once said (and she linked my review; that was so awesome) that there’s going to be lots of Yuji moments there so I’m really looking forward to it. Don’t fail me, Ms. Zevin *begs*. I was tempted to include Altered by Gennifer Albin, Unchosen by Michele Vail & Horde by Anne Aguirre but decided not to. I haven’t read the Razorland series yet, but I do have copies of the first two books since my sister read it. While for Altered and Unchosen, I read the first in the series but I was kinda on the fence whether to continue it or not since I sort of forgot the story (my bad).
I’m finally going to read Apollyon in preparation of the fifth book releasing this week.
ETA: I forgot to include All The Pieces by Angela Richardson since I already read it. I was asked to hold my review until the publication date. But man the feels this book is just overpowering. So expect some major spazzing because it was one heck of a ride.
