Here’s my book stash for this week. Check out what has added on my reading/review stack.
I was so lucky with ARCs, I got three titles and one of those is something I’m eagerly anticipating. Anyhoo, I got Taken (Taken #1) by Erin Bowman, which I really, really excited to read (will try to read this weekends). No man just boys? The plot is really intriguing. Next, I was fortunate to luckily add this title on my pile. It was unexpected; since it was confusing available for me to read then I grabbed the opportunity, and who couldn’t pass these guys up. It sounded so chilling and interesting: MILA 2.0 (MILA 2.0 #1) by Debra Driza and Pivot Point (Pivot Point #1) by Kasie West. My ARC pile is looking super great. Huhe, huge thanks to HarperTeen and Katherine Tegen Books!!!
I also have the entire A Neighbor from Hell series, highly recommended by my sister. I just finished the first book, Playing for Keeps, the book was funny and super sexy. Will write a review later this week. I also got Ashes of Twilight (Ashes Trilogy, #1) by Kassy Tayler. Sounds interesting will try to read it one of these days (as long as my impulses to read books that are not on my actual ‘to-read’ list subsided a bit. I’m easily got sidetracked).
Honorable mentions: (from below) Books added on my our book collection: The first three books of the Heroes of Olympus series: The Lost Hero (Heroes of Olympus, #1) , The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, #2) and The Mark of Athena (Heroes of Olympus, #3). I finally got my paperback edition of The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. I saw the last copy and just have to buy it. And lastly, the new paperback edition of Shatter Me. I know, I know why would I need another one if I have the book already. What can I say? I love the cover design. It’s way cheaper than the first edition and bit smaller. But it’s so pretty I just need to have it. This led me to my pre-order Unravel Me in hardback? Ugh there’s goes my uneven collection.
Releasing this Week:
Just one (I think) Touched (Sense Thieves #1) by Corrine Jackson. Heard that this one is another sad attempt to re-create albeit making the male protagonist not a vampire (to make it more…original?), Twilight. Surely the cover has similarities. But I’m giving this one the benefit of the doubt. Hope it’s worth the try. :3
